Most successful players start with a cheap empty plot, a simple starter house, and a steady job routine before expanding.

Choosing and Buying Your First Plot

Open the plot menu from the in-game UI to browse available lots across neighborhoods. Starter neighborhoods like Bixby Grove and others offer affordable empty plots suitable for first-time homeowners. Empty plots cost less upfront but require you to build or place a pre-made structure. Pre-built starter homes cost more initially but let you move in immediately.

Managing Basic Needs

Bloxburg simulates hunger, energy, hygiene, fun, and social needs. Colored mood bars in the UI track these stats. When bars drop, your character moves slower and job efficiency suffers. Eat from fridges or buy food at stores, shower in bathrooms, sleep in beds, and use entertainment items to keep fun high.

Bills arrive periodically for electricity, water, and property tax. Pay them through the mailbox or bills interface at your plot. Unpaid bills can shut off utilities, making daily life harder. Always keep a small cash reserve after big purchases.
